Please send samples of your work alongside the nonrefundable application fee. Use your own judgment. It must be enough to give the judges sufficient material to judge the breadth and depth of your talent, yet not so much as to overwhelm their limited time to review the applications.

All residency applicants will be notified by April 15, 2012. Early applicants have an advantage. Accepted applicants must commit to the residency within two weeks of notification. There is no fee for a Norton Island residency beyond the application fee.

Families may not accompany the residents. Couples are allowed only when both spouses are accepted by the jurists. If you have further questions about our facilities or program, please e-mail or write before you apply.
